9 top tips to DOUBLE your income in 90 days.

Hey listen there are so many people out there – my Facebook feed is FULL of people claiming they have the secret source, the greatest gift and for $5000 they are going to show you how to earn a 7 figure income. COME ON! Lets get real – I just want to show you how to earn an extra £500. To make your life easier – to pay the mortgage, your rent. To pay your credit card bill. To be able to go on holiday. Real issues for real people and I have the

1. Know your customer

I don’t mean just know them – I mean KNOW them –  their inner secrets, their passion, their hopes, dreams and desires. How they think, what they buy, where they holiday.

2.  Niche your customer or go home!

This is a tough one to do. Unless your product or service is super niche, people generally don’t to niche too far as they are fearful of putting off some people that they could support and work with.

A niche is a focused, targetable part of the market. You are a specialist providing a product or service that focuses on specific client group’s needs, which cannot or are not addressed in such detail by mainstream providers. There are masses of reasons you should niche, here are just a few:
  • Don’t spread yourself too thin
  • Easier to identify and target potential clients and partners to work with
  • Easier to become an expert and well known in your niche
  • More and better referrals
  • More unique = Less competition
  • Marketing become easier
  • Easier to identify specific clients
  • More repeat business

So go and niche or go home!

3.  Systemise

Get your business process sorted, your customer flow and systemise everything. Nothing should be manual – everything should flow and work seamlessly. You almost need to make yourself redundant and remove your interaction from the process to ensure it works well without you. If you’re business can’t survive with you – you haven’t got a sustainable business and you’ll be knackered!

4.  Outsource

My all time favourite saying – “Do what you do best and outsource the rest!”

I may sound like a broken record, but stop doing anything and everything you could hire someone else to do, so you can do the things that will make your dreams and goals a reality. You don’t get rich, or richer, by doing what you’ve always done. It’s time to do something new! Start by creating what will become your team by hiring one person to do those tasks that need to get done, but not necessarily done by you.

5. Be decisive

Know what you’re doing and thinking. If its a yes its a yes. If its a No its a no. Don’t sit on the fence. People (read customers) like to deal with strong decisive people, which brings me onto….

6.  Be powerful, not passive

No one is inspired by a pushover! Decide what you want and go for it. Like a rocket fuelled missile, Singularly focused, and committed to achieve your goal – NO MATTER WHAT.

7. Represent the best of what you do. Avoid mediocrity at all costs. 

No one really likes vanilla. Do what you do to the best of your ability and be bold. Nobody is inspired by vanilla. Be proud of what you do, shout from the highest building how brilliant you and your business is and don’t ever stop believing and presenting the very best version of you.

8. Master your Mindset

Your mindset is the foundation for everything that happens in your life. It can be your best friend or your worst enemy. The choice is yours. Our daily emotional experiences shape the decisions that we make and the actions that we take. Attitude is everything. I found this recently and loved it. Have a think about this:

Create your vision + Master your Mindset = Uplevel your business and your life

Every single one of us is 100{2d32fbf16b5807558623e5bf463bab46fd607d7552aacb626ed4776260a95749} responsible for the life that we create. Personal responsibility is one of the greatest skills that you can learn in life. Accepting responsibility isn’t always easy, which is why we tend to blame others for our problems, but the payoff is worth it. Once you start  accepting responsibility fro your life you will start to realise that you have the power and opportunity to change it. The liberation comes with that realisation that opens up so many doors for growth and opportunity.

When you are able to find a more intelligent response to something that vexes you, versus an emotional one, you master your mindset. When you do so, you will be free to achieve the success that you desire.

9. Get a coach

You can’t do it all on your own. Its flipping hard, so surround yourself with the trusted advisors that you’ve chosen to work with, no wget off the fence and engage a great business coach. Do the research and find one that works for you, that feels right. Stretch yourself – if you don’t think you can probably afford one – then that’s even more reason to work with a business coach. You can’t afford not to!
